3rd & 4th of July

Let me just start this post by quoting my husband.

In reference to the July 4th holiday Brooks said, "Jacki, if there is one thing I could be addicted too, it would be fireworks."

And so the holiday began with

$300 worth of legal in Alabama (which means NOT Georgia) fireworks.

Another firework stop to a legal Georgia vendor the day of the 4th just in case there weren't enough fireworks already.

A July 3rd driveway show which consisted of 3 crying kids ready for bed, 2 tired moms ready to put those 3 crying kids to bed and 2 giggling dads not hearing the crying moms or kids because their excitement of lighting things on fire deafened them to the cries.

Red, white and blue outfits because that is required attire on the 4th.

And of course, putting the kids to bed and playing with fireworks til midnight because they really are fun for all ages!

Here is just the last little bit of the home firework show that Brooks, Clay and our friend John put on for us at John's property. All I can say is living 45 minutes from the Alabama border has its perks come 4th of July time.

Hope your 4th was happy and safe!

Call out the Fire Dept.!! That is why fireworks are outlawed because crazy people want to burn down the neighborhood. Were are the Roman Candles, Cherry Bombs, & M80's? That's would get the neighbors calling the cops. BUT fun was had by all.

Happy 4th of July America!!!!!!

I love it! Boys never really grow up, do they? haha Jordyn looks so cute in her red, white, and blue. Reminds me of the home video I just watched of you in D.C. in your red and white striped sports bra with hoochie patriotic shorts. :)
