My mom and step dad, Michael, visited last week. We had a whirlwind of events occur. We had so much fun. Time just flew by.
Micheal relaxin' in a Southern Rocker at Cracker Barrel.

Arriving to our hotel in Savannah, GA. We drove 4 hours in a 5 seater car. We were so ready to be out of that car.

Jenna, Michael, me and Brooks standing in front of Paula Deans restaurant.

Walking down to River St. Literally!

A picture of the stairs we took down to River St. That is Brooks at the top.

Brooks and I at Spanky's for lunch. We both had fish and chips! Delicious!

Michael and Mom at Spanky's. Notice that Michael got fish and chips too. In fact, everyone besides my mom indulged in some fish and chips.

Michael used to have a sailboat before my mom made him sell it so they could move to Hawaii. He still loves them! Here we are admiring the sailboats.

Jenna on River St.

Savannah is known for their ghosts and pirates. While we were there, we got to go on a Ghost Tour and eat dinner at The Pirates House (an old pirate hangout). Jenna seemed really excited about meeting a pirate.

Michael and his buddy.

O hoy maittie!

On our way to catch the trolley.
On the trolley.
I don't know what that hand is doing there... it is probably a GHOST!

After hearing a lot about the Ghosts in Savannah, we ended up at the Ol' Pirate House for dinner. They said that this was an old hangout for pirates in the early 1800s. The original house is still standing. It is the oldest building in all of Savannah.

Our tour ended in the pirate's wine cellar. Supposedly there are orbs down in this cellar. Jenna got this great one to the right of our blond tour guide. Read about them and tell me what you think.
Back in the early 1800s this underground tunnel gave the pirates a secret entrance and exit to the house. They used to lurer young boys down to the cellar with promises of rum. The boys would get drunk, pass out and find themselves on a ship the next day. That was how pirates got their young crewmen. The tunnel was filled in during the mid 1900s.
Our tour guide said that sometimes orbs follow you. Brooks and I were trying to catch some orbs. We were unsuccessful.

After our 3 hour tour, we went back down to River St. Jenna on another staircase down to the street.

Brooks and I solving the world's troubles.
The next morning we headed to Tybee Island. It was so windy, but we had a blast anyway.
Jenna, mom and me.

Enjoying our feet in the sand.

Michael was saying the sun was in his eyes. This is how he kept it out.

Brooks, me and Jenna.

For some reason, Brooks just hates to smile.

We found quicksand.

Eating some hot dogs after our walk.
The next day we went to Hilton Head, but we didn't get any pictures. Then Monday evening we drove home.
Tuesday everyone had to work so we didn't do much.

So where did you stay? We want to take a trip there, now even more so with so many pirates. I just get nervous about finding a good place to stay since we've never been.
